Summary
Business Development Specialist will play a major role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The successful candidate is comfortable making calls, generating interest, and qualifying prospects. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial drive and a proven track record in sales and with a strong interest in emerging technology. A background in CPM solutions sales is a strong plus, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Find new customer opportunities through cold calls and emails and inbound lead follow-up.
- Understand prospective customers, and their needs and requirements.
- Work with the management team for further development, engagement, and sale closure.
- Research prospective customers to identify key targets and generate interest.
- Work on developing and fine-tuning scripts emphasizing the value of doing business with Finaptive and providing information about partner product features, prices, and value proposition.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of working experience in relevant field.
- Excellent communication skills, strong phone presence.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Summary
As a lead consultant on client implementations, you’ll be the main point of contact for your clients, working diligently with the internal senior architects and the client stakeholders to oversee and work on the project implementations from the project kick-off to final deployment state. You are expected to be the expert on the business and technical side of the implementations having a solid understanding of the various FP&A processes and various CPM solutions. Additionally, a strong technical background to be able to perform any necessary ETL. Act as the test lead to ensure all deliverables are thoroughly tested. Your role will also encompass training and coaching both internal team members and client users to ensure proper knowledge transfer and enablement upon go-live.
Responsibilities
- Participate in design/discovery sessions to quickly get a firm grasp of the project requirements.
- Collaborate with senior team members to architect and document the solution based on the scope of the implementation.
- Work closely with client power users to implement the key components of the solution and perform necessary unit tests.
- Manage your projects efficiently to ensure any potential risks and issues are identified and mitigated appropriately.
- Provide necessary guidance and coaching to client users helping them become self-sufficient on the solution.
- Work on developing foundational modules and calculations/integrations that can become building blocks for future implementations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of working experience in consulting for a Business Application, preferably FP&A software.
- Excellent project management skills, ensuring on-time and budget project deployments
- Effective communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation.
- Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile implementation methodologies.
- Experience with Data Modeling and ETL.
- Accounting / Finance experience preferred.
